EU-Politics 2024

EU-Politics 2024

Europe must take a stand on key positions that will be convincing to both its own members and the rest of the world. Excessive bureaucracy, high transformation costs and an increasing shortage of skilled labour are serious issues demanding solutions if Europe is to remain competitive. They are also decisive location factors for companies in the transport and logistics sector in Germany. The German Transport Forum (DVF), the voice of the German mobility industry, has compiled recommendations for a sustainable European mobility policy in five key action areas in its position paper "Mobility for Europe - Strongly Connected":

  • Secure location - strengthen competitiveness
  • Successfully mould transformation - achieve climate protection targets
  • Develop infrastructure for the future - improve interfaces
  • Strengthen logistics sector - optimise framework conditions
  • Drive digital network forward - organise safe and efficient mobiltiy
